The launch of the web site is one of many changes occurring within the NAF. In June of this year, the Foundation moved its physical offices, hired dedicated management staff, and began two new publishing projects. New board members and staff are reinvigorating the Foundation, and are actively pursuing the advancement of the organization’s mission.
Under its publishing imprint, NAF Publications©, the NAF is revising its popular and authoritative reference guide on AOM regulation for a seventh edition: Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine State Laws and Regulations, 2005 Edition; and, is publishing a new book by complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) legal expert, Michael H. Cohen, J.D.: Legal Issues in Integrative Medicine: A Guide for Clinicians, Hospitals, and Patients.
Information on both of these books, and more about the NAF itself, may be found on the web site at www.nationalacupuncturefoundation.org. Bookmark our web site and visit regularly for updates on our activities and projects.
